Marshalltown Center Street Project

This project included improvements to the Center Street corridor from State Street on the north to Linn Street on the south.  Primary improvements included replacing the two grate intakes in the outer lanes of Center Street just north of Linn Street; installing curb and gutter and reshaping street cross-sections to assist surface water runoff; installing curb intakes and storm sewer collection systems throughout the corridor; replacing and/or repairing portions of the sidewalk and curb ramps; replacing driveway turnouts; replacing street lights; and resurfacing the alley located on the east midblock between State Street and Main Street.
