Maytag Parking Lot Wins Award

CGA received the Ready Mixed Concrete Association's Excellence in Concrete Award for the category of Parking Areas/Drives over 1,000 cubic yards. The award was presented to CGA for work on the Maytag Parking Lot project in Newton, Iowa. The Maytag Parking Lot, covering some 230,000 square feet, provides a total of 389 parking spaces. The area that was constructed into parking was the original 1860's rail yard for the City of Newton. The project was done on a design/build basis and was a team effort between CGA, Maytag Corporation, RDG Crose Gardner & Associates, and Manatt's, Inc. CGA was the project manager.
