Michael C. Bearden, P.E.

Mike Bearden is a Vice President, Project Manager and Director of the Transportation Department for CGA. In this position he is responsible for overseeing Airport and Roadway project development as well as coordinating standards and procedures between other disciplines. As a Project Manager he has over 20 years of experience in overseeing the planning, budgeting, design and construction of projects with local, state and federal funding for both private and public clients. His areas of expertise include roadway and highway design; streets; utilities; right of way design; storm sewer design; Department of Transportation funding and grant administration; airport runway, taxiway, drainage design; airport lighting and guidance sign layout; Passenger Facility Charge (PFC) applications; FAA grant administration; airfield certification technical assistance and FAA coordination, construction management; and resident construction engineering; scheduling and cost control.  Bearden is a graduate of Iowa State University and is a registered Professional Engineer in Iowa. He is a member of the Gladbrook Theater and Matchstick Marvels Tourist Center Board of Directors and is an Advisor to the Gladbrook Community Foundation.
