Mount Pleasant Airport

A new FBO/Maintenance Hangar was constructed at the Mt. Pleasant Municipal Airport. The Contractor for the 80 x 80' Hangar was Wendler Engineering & Construction from South Amana, Iowa.

The hangar is connected to the existing Terminal building and includes radiant floor heating, oil-water separator for airplane washing, a 65' x 17' HydroSwing door, and office. Total cost for the construction was $207,925, of which, $50,000 was awarded through the Iowa DOT Office of Aviation, General Aviation Vertical Infrastructure (GAVI) grant.
