Menards

This project included designs for both public and private improvements.  Site plans were developed in conjunction with roadway improvements associated with Pinnacle Prairie Commercial South Phase II.

Special challenges included conveying post-developed stormwater runoff through a main storm sewer trunk line, into a stormwater tract, then under Viking Road to a regional detention facility.  Wetland mitigation was also required, which was designed to be installed in the stormwater detention facility, thus serving dual purposes in the same vicinity, and allowing wetlands to be mitigated on-site.

This was the second successful project completed for Menard, Inc.  The roadway and site improvements were completed on-schedule, and the store opened in 2013.
