Clapsaddle-Garber Associates began working with the City of Beaman in 2009 to replace a portion of the city's water distribution system to improve water quality. The areas of town served by 4" cast iron piping were experiencing discolored and poor tasting water as well as inadequate fire flows. CGA prepared a Preliminary Engineering Report and successfully obtained a CDBG grant and SRF funding for the City of Beaman. The resulting project replaced 3,580 linear feet of watermain, 5 fire hydrants, 16 valves, and 735 linear feet of service lines.
