Liscomb Water System

Clapsaddle-Garber Associates was hired by the City of Liscomb in 2008 to update their entire water distribution system.  The majority of the system was installed in 1949 and consisted of 2-inch and 4-inch cast iron piping.  By 2008, the residents of Liscomb were experiencing low water pressure, poor water quality, and loss of thousands of gallons due to multiple breaks per year.  CGA prepared a Preliminary Engineering Report and successfuly obtained a CDBG grant and SRF funding for the City of Liscomb.  The resulting project replaced 15,510 linear feet of watermain, 23 fire hydrants, 31 valves, and 1,840 linear feet of service lines.
