Sewer construction in the downtown alleyways is planned to
begin the morning of June 11th. Beginning at Elm
Avenue, the contractor will remove the alley pavement to
Pennsylvania. Installation of the new storm and
sanitary sewers will follow immediately, but access through
the alley will be interrupted until further notice.
Local business owners, customers, and travelers must find
alternate parking and delivery routes.

The construction contract was awarded on March 15th to
Holland Contracting of Forest City. They will begin
construction in the first part of May, with an approximate 2
month construction period.
