Clapsaddle-Garber Associates, Inc. (CGA) is pleased to be exhibiting at the Iowa Public Airports Association Conference April 16-17 in Sioux City, Iowa. Each year the conference provides education and networking opportunities for participants that are interested in the success of Iowa airports. The conference is made possible by the Iowa Public Airports Association (IPAA), “Connecting Iowa’s Aviation Community”. Founded in 1984 as an outgrowth of the Iowa Airport Executives Association, IPAA membership is open to all public use airports, as well as associates in the state with an interest in aviation in Iowa. Topics to be covered at the conference include airfield management, an update from the FAA/IDOT, and educational sessions on Airports and PFA’s, Wildlife Management, UAS Technology and Community and Passenger Engagement. In addition, the annual meeting of the IPAA will take place and tours of the Mid America Museum of Aviation will be offered. Attendees are also given the opportunity to fly with the 185th Air National Guard and learn more about inflight refueling!
The CGA team specializes in assisting Iowa’s airports by providing civil engineering services such as grant application preparation, airport master plans and layout plans, capital improvement priorities and more. The IPAA Conference gives the CGA aviation team an opportunity to stay ahead of issues facing Iowa airports as well as identify how CGA may be able to play a role in helping to solve such issues.
