Clapsaddle-Garber Associates, Inc. (CGA) is pleased to announce Dan Matzinger has passed the Iowa exam to become a Land Surveyor Intern (LSI).
Matzinger has been employed as a Survey Technician with CGA since 2009 and recently took the test to continue his career as a surveyor, with the ultimate goal of becoming a PLS (Professional Land Surveyor).
As an LSI, Matzinger will receive four additional years of experience working alongside a licensed land surveyor at CGA. After these four years, he will be able to take the PLS exam. To read more about the requirements to become a licensed surveyor, visit https://plb.iowa.gov/land-surveying.
CGA has a robust survey team, consisting of seven Professional Licensed Surveyors throughout their Ackley, Ames, Cedar Falls, Marshalltown, and Webster City locations. “Matzinger has been an asset to the CGA survey crew for the past 11 years, and I’m proud that he’s pursuing his licensure.
