CGA completed the site design for the new Teen Center in Waterloo. The project included a new two-story 10,700 SF facility to house classrooms, gathering, and gym spaces focused on serving the teens of Waterloo. The site is located across the street from East High School and one block away from the Waterloo Main Office. Site design included demolition of two existing buildings, utilization of existing water service to minimize street disruption, new sanitary sewer service, new 15-stall parking lot, underground stormwater detention, and site grading. Construction was coordinated with the City of Waterloo’s street improvements occurring at the same time. The building was opened in 2020.
