CGA recently had the honor to assist Grinnell College with several improvement projects.

We partnered with EYP architects to complete the design and construction of the new $90 Million HSSC complex. The project included a 3-story addition to joining the historic Alumni Recitation and Carnegie Halls on the west side of campus. CGA assisted in the design of a green roof and stormwater reclamation tank for use in flushing toilets and reducing stormwater runoff.

CGA teamed with ASG Architects on the new Admissions and Student Financial Services Building including a new pervious paver parking lot for stormwater management. CGA assisted the college with the relocation of existing historic student housing in order to accommodate the new construction.

In addition, the ASG/CGA team completed the design and construction of the Phase I Campus Landscape plan. The project included new pedestrian sidewalk routes, outdoor classroom and gathering spaces, multiple bioretention facilities, way-finding signage, landscaping features, and coordination of city street improvements
