CGA partnered with TSP Architects on the Dack Hall expansion and was subsequently hired to make improvements to Memorial Drive. The team worked to improve drainage in the area, provide a covered bus loading/unloading for Dack Hall, and bring pedestrian access within ADA standards. After removing the original pavement the subsoils were explored and found to be very expansive clays that could not pass proof-rolling tests. Soils were over-excavated to ensure pavement longevity. CGA’s role involved: private access roads, grading, paving, passenger loading/unloading, reconfiguration of storm sewer, drainage improvements, construction administration, coordination with owner, architects, and contractor
