The Bridge Home, an affordable housing development aimed at supporting the unhoused population in Ames, officially broke ground on September 27, 2023. This innovative supportive housing project is now underway. The Bridge Home’s 18 units, funded by a $4 million grant from the Iowa Finance Authority, will soon provide stable housing for those without a permanent place to live in the Ames community.

CGA’s scope of services included working with the City of Ames staff/Zoning Board of Adjustment for approval to obtain a Joint Parking Permit, Shared Parking Agreement, Plat of Survey to combine seven parcels into two, Minor Site Development Plan, Conditional Use Permit, and alley reconstruction. The CGA team also provided landscape architecture services and will be on-site for Construction Administration.
