Fischels Warehouse Site Design, Waterloo, Iowa
CGA was hired by 3 Stooges, LLC, to provide civil engineering and land surveying services for the new Fischels Warehouse located on Hyper Drive in Waterloo, Iowa. This project involved the design and development of a proposed 9,000 sf industrial warehouse.
Highlights:
- Site Survey & Design: Crafted design blueprints for parking zones, vehicle pathways, pedestrian walkways, aggregate storage areas, utilities, drainage systems, and site boundaries.
- Boundary & Topographic Survey: Charted property boundaries and adjacent areas, executed precision land surveys via Total Station and GPS, and generated a digital terrain representation using Autodesk Civil 3d.
- Preliminary Design & Site Plan: Formulated initial schematics, land contouring layouts, utility mapping, rainwater infrastructure, and readied urban planning submissions for municipal evaluation.
- Final Design & Plans: Sculpted detailed build blueprints, supervised urban water discharge licenses, NPDES, and integrated SWPPP protocols with BMP guidelines.
