An Iowa DOT grant-funded project was completed to develop a new industrial park to capitalize on a network of highways, railways, and runways west of the Waterloo Regional Airport. The City of Waterloo extended water main and sanitary sewer to serve these new commercial lots as well as rail services.
Division 1 included 1100 feet of new street and utility construction and was recently completed in February 2021. Future phases will ultimately lead to a 12-lot industrial park bounded on the west by the city limits and Leversee Road and to the east by the airport runways.
CGA completed site assessment and preliminary design of the roadway and utilities and stormwater analysis. We also provided final design, cost estimation, platting, Board & Committee approvals, and construction administration/inspection/testing.
