Site design varies from project to project, from tight urban sites to wide-open rural settings.  CGA’s professional engineers and designers develop plans and specifications for all grading, paving, utilities, and site improvements outside of building footprints. We serve as the site / civil engineer, coordinating our work with engineering and architectural teams for new buildings and building additions following the AIA process.  In addition, we provide maintenance and/or improvement plans, working directly with our clients when no building construction is involved. We create a solid foundation for your building plans. We focus on the details, coordinating pedestrian and vehicular access, parking and layout, utility connections, site drainage, earth retention, and storm water retention with the client and design team.

To assist with presentations and approvals, CGA offers 3D renderings with vivid detail showing the potential of your site and multiple design options as well as exhibits showing vehicle turning movements and fire hydrant coverage. Want a hands-on layout experience with your engineer? Not a problem! Sit down with us and our interactive modeling software to help optimize your site. We go beyond design – we oversee bidding, construction, and permitting so you don’t have to. We also incorporate sustainability and energy conscious design. CGA can assist you with LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) and SITES applications and certifications.
